Plainas White 2015
This wine comes for the north west of Portugal, from a region called Vino Verde. This region is well known for its light bodied and tart wines, in fact Verde translates to green. The area is just off the coast, and it is through that that the vines are nourished with high rains. The Atlantic literally breathes life into the vineyards, and whilst it is considered a humid area, the vines are trained high. This allows maximum air to pass through.
The aromas are lively. Citrus tones and a little pear make up this bouquet. The palate is traditional of a Vinho Verde wine, made from Arinto ans Azal. Lovely driving acidity, the traditional spritz, pronounced citrus tones.
